SAN ANGELO – For the 35th consecutive year, National Night Out Against Crime, brought a community together comprised of families, its 1st Responders: police officers, Sheriff’s Office, EMS and firefighters, to celebrate this campaign that “promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live”.

Tuesday, October 2, NNO was held at seven locations throughout the community, and in Wall, Texas as families came to honor and have fun with their own guardian angels, known as 1st Responders.
Conexión San Ángelo was at one of those places—Angelo Skate & Fun Center, 34 Buick Street as families brought their children to enjoy games, children’s activities; and to check out the Responders’ EMT vehicles and police cars. In attendance also were nonprofits such as ADACCV, the Khaos Kittens Junior Roller Derby girls, along with businesses—Target, Enter-tel, etc.
